Timothy was Good the other actor was also good and his love intrest was good also I belived it more.

The early 90’s serves nothing in the story besides nostalgia and they didnt do anything clever the if the director had focuse on making a movie insta of paying Homage to Great movies ( goodfallas / boogie night.

The movie would have been Great.

The story is incredibly lame and pulled back. The film relied way too much on making it stylistic and hip, and forgot how to tell a decent story. And even then, most of the stylistic choices were either out of place or incredibly forced. Even with all these choices that the movie makes it has a very tough time finding a tone. I wish the movie didn’t pull back on so much like nudity and drug use. I wish they would mess things up a little bit. It felt really tame. I did really enjoy some of the music. The cinematography is really great and I even enjoyed some of the sequences I didn’t expect to enjoy. But most of the movie felt really ham-fisted. How some characters are introduced felt rushed, the dialogue was sometimes really cliche and cringey. I already mentioned the biggest set backs above. I just wish they had directing and writing to back up the lead actor that plays so well. Overall, I was really disappointed with the movie. You’re all trash.

The actress who play the love Intersset has no charisma what so ever the couple looks fake and forced and she look bored out of her Mind.
The only reason I saw this movie was so I could see Timothée Chalamet, because I didn’t get to see Call Me By Your Name, but people were talking about how great of an actor he was. Though his acting is pretty much the only strength this movie has going for it. Every other actor isn’t the least bit convincing and they made their characters incredibly one dimensional.

Although an enjoyable movie with a simple coming of age story and some good Acting the movie doesn’t hit Home run ( or something like that.
